About
Described by Romanian critics on national radio as "an exceptional pianist with a refined sound", Anelise is an undergraduate student holding a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studies with celebrated pianist Florian Mitrea. Beginning her musical journey at the age of three, she has received numerous distinctions, including the Grand Prize at the Ina Macarie International Competition at just 13. More recently, her musicianship was recognized with a First and Special Prize at the Elite Musicians International Competition in Iasi, Romania.
In 2022, Anelise made her solo recital debut at the renowned Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, which was broadcasted on Classic FM Romania. Since then, she has brought her voice to esteemed venues across Europe, including Cadogan Hall (UK), St. James’ Church (UK), St. Cuthbert’s Church (UK), Arcub Hall (Romania), Théâtre Municipal (France).
Anelise’s musical pursuits extend far beyond the solo stage. She thrives in collaborative settings, exploring a wide repertoire of chamber works, from Mozart and Beethoven quintets to the poignant trios of Rachmaninoff and Brahms. While being at the Academy, she has formed a stable duo with guitarist Davide Magni, called Volaverunt Duo. They regularly perform across London, exploring understated repertoire and promoting this dynamic pairing of instruments. She has also connected with two flutists, creating an established trio (Aeris Trio), premiering in London multiple works for this combination.
Anelise’s development as an artist has further been shaped by masterclasses and summer courses with esteemed musicians, including Boris Berman, Joanna MacGregor CBE, Yejin Gil, Till Fellner, Tatiana Sarkissova, Tessa Nicholson, Aaron Shorr, Fali Pavri, and Petras Geniušas.
